My client was a newly appointed MD of a 40-person creative agency. She succeeded a retiring MD who had been in charge for 10 years and had established his own leadership style and culture. My client’s goal was to grow the company and create a more dynamic performance-oriented culture.
We worked together over six months to help her identify and use her own strengths to make her mark as a leader and to model the values she felt were important to the company’s success. We looked closely at specific issues such as dealing with feedback and challenge, delegating and prioritising.
At the end of the work, the client reported an increase in confidence in her own style as a leader and success in starting to create a culture of personal responsibility. The agency goes from strength to strength.
